The Gratitude Banquet is held in an elegant banquet setting at the Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for an evening of fellowship, dinner, and celebration.
Why We Celebrate
The Gratitude Banquet is our way of expressing thanks to the AA groups and members throughout Districts 13, 21, and 22 who support the Tri-District Intergroup and Central Office throughout the year.
Recovery is something none of us accomplish alone. Every meeting, every volunteer, every 12th Step call, every service commitment, and every act of kindness helps carry the message to the next alcoholic seeking hope.
This evening is our opportunity to pause, celebrate that shared commitment, and simply say…
Thank you.
A Tradition That Continues
Now celebrating its 30th year, the Gratitude Banquet has become one of the longest-standing traditions in our local AA community.
While the banquet has been held in several different locations over the years, its purpose has remained the same:
To bring our fellowship together in gratitude, unity, and service.
As more historical information about the banquet’s beginnings becomes available, we look forward to sharing that story here and preserving the history of this wonderful tradition.
Everyone Is Welcome
The Gratitude Banquet is open to everyone in the AA fellowship.
Whether you’re celebrating decades of sobriety or attending your very first banquet, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere built on the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Because we never want finances to prevent someone from attending, many AA groups sponsor members by purchasing tickets for newcomers or those who may not otherwise be able to attend. Individual members also purchase extra tickets as an act of service and generosity.
That spirit of giving is one of the many things that makes this evening so special.
Celebrate Recovery in Style
One of the unique traditions of the Gratitude Banquet is the opportunity to dress up and enjoy an elegant evening together.
It’s a chance to step away from everyday life, share a wonderful meal with friends, and celebrate recovery in a beautiful setting.
If you’ve never attended before, ask members of your home group about their experience.
You’ll quickly discover why so many people return year after year.
